Weekly streams

We stream on Twitch (opens in a new tab) regularly. If the channel is live, the button in the header says so. I typically stream three times per week on Tues, Thurs, and Sat, sharing a mixture of single player and multiplayer games with friends. Often I’ll pick a longer game and play it through, or sometimes 1-2 shorter games over fewer streams. Usually streams run about three hours, though sometimes we’ll go longer.

Some streams feature live visual VJ mixes, though they are aren’t always common. However, the opening, closing, and BRB screens give a good example of my style. Full sets tend to happen as special events and the idea of opening or closing a stream with an hour of VJ work has been considered, so stay tuned for that.

Past broadcasts are in the archive, which currently links to Twitch directly. Eventually we may host all or most of our historic VODs on this site under the same page. Welcoming chat

This is a safe space. We’re an ally to LGBTQIA+ folks and everyone’s welcome here. I’ll respect your pronouns and how you identify.

There are some basic rules for the channel and Discord. Be respectful, supportive, and kind. I’d rather not be heavy-handed about it, so the rules are pretty simple:

• Don’t be a dick.
• No racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, anti-trans or other hate speech.
• No harassment, bullying, fear mongering, or anything in that family.
• No spoilers or backseat driving unless I explicitly ask for help.
• No religion or politics in chat.

Fair warning that you may hear some occasional strong language from my end, and I reserve the right to change these rules whenever they need changing.

Lurking is completely fine and nobody is expected to say hello or announce themselves. That said, the chatting and the emote spam are what make the channel work, and I’ll admit they scratch the lizard part of my brain that runs on dopamine.

I’ve always wanted this to be a positive, inclusive channel, and the community that shows up makes all the difference.

These chat commands work for most chatters while we’re live. !lurk if you’re just passing through, and !camera, !rig, !vj, or !schedule will answer the questions I get asked the most. If you catch something worth keeping, !clip grabs the last few seconds.

The swear jar counts the times I let one slip, and chat can cash it in with channel points. I’ll roll a !d20 and buy chat somewhere between 1-5 subs, depending on the roll (and sometimes we 5x during special events):

• 1-4 = 1 sub
• 5-8 = 2 subs
• 9-12 = 3 subs
• 13-16 = 4 subs
• 17-20 = 5 subs
